About

The Full Story

Hi, I’m Kyle Harding — a photographer drawn to stillness, texture, and the parts of nature that are easy to miss.

I live with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), a connective tissue disorder that affects my mobility and energy. Slowing down isn’t a choice — it’s how I move through life. That rhythm carries into how I work with a camera: slowly, patiently, and always with a deep respect for the quiet moments unfolding around me.

I focus on the details that usually go unnoticed — the shimmer of a beetle’s wing, the balance of a robin on one leg, the fading light on a rusted surface. Photography gives me a way to connect with nature on its own terms. It's less about capturing and more about noticing.

My work is based in Worcester, UK, though the locations I photograph are often close to home — gardens, hedgerows, forest undergrowth. I shoot with a Canon EOS R10, using a mix of EF and RF lenses, depending on the subject and mood. And if I’m out without my camera, I’ll often use the Samsung S24 Ultra’s 200MP sensor — proving again that presence matters more than gear.

In 2025, my work will be digitally exhibited in galleries across Philadelphia, Melbourne, Barcelona, and London, and featured in both online magazines and curated exhibitions. I was recently selected for a feature in Shutterbug Magazine through a Gurushots challenge — one of many steps in growing my reach while staying true to my slower creative pace.

I work mostly with natural light and soft tones, using my own presets (like Dark wood) to keep the mood grounded and reflective. Whether it's macro, wildlife, or quiet scenes in-between, my goal is always the same: to create work that slows people down, even if just for a second. You’ll find those themes running through my portfolio, print shop, and blog — this site brings them all together. If you’re here to look, connect, or collect, I’m truly glad you’ve arrived.

Let’s stay in touch.
